Need help! A formula perhaps: I have a situation where I have a base cabinet. The cabinet will have a RIGHT hinged door as a family type or a LEFT hinged door. For the handle I’m using a simple yes/no parameter to make the handle visible depending on which door is needed.  However, this base cabinet needs to be locked as an instance parameter as needed.  See image attached. When I check the Y/N “Lock” parameter below, I want the lock to show up correctly, Left or Right Doors. Right now I’m providing one left lock and one right lock, but both either turn on/off with the “Lock” parameter below. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Why didn't you just add a flipper control to make this a left/right unit and do it all one way?

flipping does not work because I have to label the cabinets on plan. see picture attached. If it is right hinged or left it gets labeled on the plan. Thanks.

It can work ... not just automatic...

But here is your fix for what U want:

y/n instance Lock

y/n type Left

y/n instance Lockleft  = (and(Lock, Left))  << this controls your left locl

y/n instance Lockright  = (and(Lock, not(Left)))  << this contols your right lock

WWHub, I think your suggested formula works well. I'm testing it now. Thanks.
