I think i have found the solution.You can create the new material with same appearence and in manage materials you can adjust the surface pattern horizontally and vertically in revit 2017.

Just an FYI.   You could always adjust a model pattern horizontally and vertically.  This is not a change in 2017.

You can clone fill patterns wthin Revitwith the free HatchKit Add-In for Revit (from the Revit Exchange) and assign its type as either DRAFTING or MODEL.

If your wall is pinned, you cannot adjust the pattern. Make sure your wall is not pinned.
