So, here we are, 2 days before submittal for permit and all sorts of things come unglued.

Here's a choice one. My structural engineer calls me (using Revit Structural 2009) and describes the following scenario.

The Site link appears fine in all views, but when views that show the link in section are printed (or viewed in print previews), the depth of the view appears to extend into infinity. The result is that in sections you see all topo contours and misc. site triangulation.

The usual suspects as follow were reviewed.

  • Section clipping depths are very tight at 1''0" +/-
  • All available sub categories in of the Topography visibility  graphics in Revit Structure 2009 are un-checked

An undersireable option would be to unload the link and draft the soil in section with filled regions, but who wants to do that?

Any thoughts on how to fix this?

Thanks,

Look at settings / site settings / elevation of poche base.

Al,so - turn on the view crop window and crop the bottom.

The visibility of the site extends in 3D away from the viewer, into the page, not in 2D down. Did I mis-understand your suggestion?
