if you want yo save famiy in revit 7 you make rightcick on the name of the family in the project browser, and cick save , but some time the option of save in this rightclick menu is not active why????????

are you clicking the family itself or the family type? make sure all the + signs ar open (-) will look at it in the morning, don't have revit open...

I am sure all the (+) are open and I click on the family itself ,I had this problem on the autodesk revit example file (the library file) I think this could be happened because it version 5.1 while I tried to save the family in version 7??

Yes this occurs on all families created pre-version 6.0...
