Does anyone know how to create such a material that has solid and semi-transparent materials within the transparent plastic such as found on http://www.3-form.com/. I have never attempted such a material and could use some suggestions. The pattern swatches are available from the website and i am wondering if I need to use a cut-out & transparent image files and how to set that up. If anyone has an example to follow that would be great. Thanks.

I actually used a 3FORM material for a school project once, and this is what I did.  I took an image from their website to use as the color.  I used a generic material and changed the color to "image file" and used the image from their website.  The brightness was at .865, glossiness at .9, both reflectivity settings at .2, transparency at 1, translucency at 0, the index of refraction to match water (1.33), no cut outs, no self illumination, and no bumps.  I've attached a crop of an evening render with this material to show how light renders through it.
