I have an 18" wall that has different type of punched openings in it, slanted, circular etc. Not hard to achieve w/ edit profile. But in plan this thing is just like a blob. How can I show it like it would be built, i.e. two separate mtl stud walls and closed off where openings occur? The easy thing is too draw them as detail lines, but... Is there away to convert in place walls to walls of a certain type? Any help? Thanks. See attached pic.. it is wall on left.

is your wall made of 2 stud layers? it looks like one material... edit the wall family to be what you are going to build like, 2 stud layers + your finish layers (if you have them) and it should look like you want when you cut...

Ok Thanks, and then how will I get it to close the section where I edited the profile?
