Hello all first post but have been lurking for a few years. I am creating custom light fixtures. Some are satisfactory and some are not. I trying to get all fixtures to emit light using their unique .ies files and to render properly. This is proving to be very difficult in the larger fixtures. I have created a SPI 1'-10" diameter pendant that is essintialy a hollow disc w/ 4 39wdtt cfl's producing all downlight. I have the "emit from circle" sized to 2' and "exit from shape in rendering" checked. I also have the shoft shadows turned on. The pendent body materials consist of the top half being painted gloss white plastic and the "lens" being anything from tranlucent white glass to light bulb on. The problem is that after it is rendered there is a soft glow with the most intense (white) light at the center of the lens. I want this entire lens to glow like the fixture would in real life. I have attached the famil and the ies file i am using for reference. Thanks in advance
