I am trying to globally change the font of a project.  I have editied the dims, text, callouts, etc but I am having a hard time with labels in families.  I don't see where to change the font of each individule label before I load it back into the project.  Is this a setting within the main project file?

Text and labels in families are not controlled through the project.
