I downloaded the parametric kitchen cabinets and also the "farmhouse" cabinets into my casework/domestic kitchen directory.  When I try to load these families into RAC 2010 it crashes every single time!  When loading standard casework families that come with Revit, no crash, only the ones I downloaded crash.  I know I do not have enough RAM but I don't think that is the problem, otherwise wouldn't crash on loading any family not just new ones?

Please advise anyone having similar problems, and if you've solved, please tell me how.

Thanks

Well, to update, I tried downloading on my laptop and loading them into drawing there....  and it works. On the desktop computer it appears to crash BEFORE the "upgrading from previous version" starts, whereas on the laptop it completes the conversion process. Is there a setting I am missing, or do I need to do a fresh install or repair install of some kind?

well how big the files are? if it is a big file... it might create a problem for your desktop considering it has a low RAM and it works on your laptop.
