Go to Massing and create a new mass, then give it the name and go to file>import link>CAD formats, you can choose if you want the sketchup model or the DWG file, then finish the mass and now you can apply Walls, Floors, roofs and Curtain system BY FACE.

I got a warning saying "Mass Contains only mesh Geometry, whcih can not be used to compute mass floors, volume, or surface area". Is that ok?

Thanks

When I cut through the imported mass, I get void inside. Is there a way to get a solid filled object from the imported 3D model. Do I need to do anything in sketchup, autocad or 3DS before exporting to Revit

Thanks

Yeah, check the units before you export the model and when you import the model in Revit, because i think you have the model very big, that's why when you apply the walls by face and when you "Cut" the model appears that "void" you talking....
