I'm new to revit and was wanding if you guys could help me out.  I've installed the program and been through the tutorials.  Is there a way we can download a particular brand window into the software.  for example, pella is a big supplier in this area.  I would love to have a pella library that had all their window styles to choose from.  it seems at first glance that we are kind of limited in what to choose in the preloaded library's(unless I did this incorrectly, if so please point me in the right direction)from and surely aren't expected to draw every window we would like use.  One would think the window manufactures would produce a library or some type of cad taht could be used by the software.

Any insigt is appreciated.

ok.  So lead me a little.  i'm finding individual windows to choose to download.. is that right?  there is no way to import an entire "line" of window instead of one at a time?

This is the only part of the program I am having problems with.  Detailing seems dificult.. or maybe I just need a little practice.  I have a plan i'm working with now.  I've got all the walls sections and everythign done.  Go to find a refrigerator and cabinets to put in and there are none in the components.  am i going to have to download that as well?  I had to import a toilet??>>>?  it seems to me thst some of the standard stuff would be easier to access.  Am I just way off track here or doing something wrong.

Maybe I'm just not doing this correctly.  I really appreciate the help this forum provides.  thanks guys

When U click on "Components" you'll see a button called "Load...", click on it and there're all the components you want, unless not, you do have to download them..............
