I am attempting to create water closet carriers. Revit does not have these, and I can not find them anywhere. This file is very generic in nature, but I wanted to test the way it would work before I spent time in the way it looked! I dont know how the plumbing system will take it, or if it will cause errors. Some things I am having issues with, due to my pure lack of experience, is the following: 1. On the vent diameter, how do I align the dimension of the radius to the radius of the vent, so I can make the diameter of the vent flex? 2. The same issue with the front dim for the mounting height, to make it flex depending on the water closet height. 3. I inserted it into another drawing to see how I can work with it. I went to draw a pipe from any of the connectors, but it would not draw from the connector point. It drew from the point looking at it from above, but when you looked at it from the side, the pipe was drawn on a different elevation. I used the space bar to select, so I thought it would go from the connect point. Am I doing something wrong or does it not do it that way. Any tips or advice anyone can give would be appreciated.
