So we have a finish palette symbol as a family, we use it occasionally over our keynotes just to point out finishes on objects that have been listed elsewhere (think a floor finish plan), so it is a text only family.  When i create a schedule for the family it is only a typed in listing of our entire palette.  Is there any way to get a schedule to look in this family/sheet and recognize only the symbols on that sheet, and then list them?

 whoops forgot, revit 2010
