Hi all,
I have created a profile for a fascia sweep. There a few family types in this profile.
Is there a reason why after I load this family into my project the types I have created are not available for selection in the options drop down list?
I require to have two different types of fascia within the same project.

Mine appear just fine in the drop down list, make sure your not using instance parameters.
Also if you already had it in the project and your loading a new version with additional types, make sure you tick overwrite existing types when prompted otherwise the addtional types may not come across.

Hi Mr Spot,
Attached is the elements dialogue box for the Fascia family I have created (fig1). Notice there are no options available even though there are two types within the family. A 1000mm and 1200mm type.
The parameter is set to type and not instance.
I have overwritten the existing family.
What am I doing incorrectly?

Hi Mr Spot,
I have just tried adjusting the parameter of the dimension which controls the thickness of the fascia profile I created to an instance parameter.
This should allow me the opportunity to change this dimension of a fascia in a particular part of the building in that instance to what ever I require.
Unfortunately the option to adjust this dimension within the properties box for this instance is not available.
I thought this would have worked

PS: I sorted the column capital challenge. Works a treat.

Good news about the column capital.
I see what your doing now.
You need to duplicate your fascia, then select another profile.
You multiple types don't come in the fascia drop down menu, they are under the profiles section...
