I am trying to create a construction assembly schedule in revit.
Is there a way to have a small section of wall in the schedule?
I have tried cutting and pasting but it doesn't seem to work.
Can you make the wall assembly plan detail parametric?

Hey Alterit. Revit is able to do some beautifull things with construction assemblies. Create a new legend (view, new, legend). Open the drafting menu on the left and click "Legend Component" You can then place any of your walls, floors, roofs whatever in a plan or section view. You can edit the properties of the insert to change the sample length, and if you change the structure the wall will be updated automatically for you. Once you have placed it you can add studs, bricks and such using the repeating detail tool or detail components. Insulation is very easy just click and drag as much as you want. Sometimes I get pretty frustrated with Revit, but things like this make me just love it.
Cheers!
