I want to change how my walls print - I want a medium/ fine view, however, I want my furring walls to print almost as if they were course (so that i see one thick line instead of thick and 2 thin which create one huge blob of black). Can this be done?

as far as i know you can do a vv and set all the walls to appear as coarse, but can't pick and choose amongst them. override graphics by element i do not beleive gives you that option, although i suppose it should.

I'd rather be riding at whistler. or highland. thats good too.

You can control which lines of the wall print in your VG settigs.  I suggest you experiment with that in a view switching on/off walls/common edges and or over-riding that line value in the VG.

Also, If you have a furring wall in front of another wall, try joining the geometry of the two walls.
