Hello everyone,

I need to make 30" X 44" casement paneled window with glass on top part. I used Glassed casement window from downloaded family and tried to make this. It looks perfect in family file but, when I load it in file, panels and glass move out of the shutter. Another problem is, when I pick the different size from this family, it changes the frame width (it should change panel size). Attached is the window which I have created. Can anybody check it and tell me what the problem is and how I can fix it? I tried to lock dimensions and alignment of object with reference plane but, it doesn’t work. Thanks.

You don't have the panels, trim, glass locked to the ref. planes, you must do that, use the "Align tool" to attach the elements to the ref. planes....

Hi Typhoon,

I tried to do as per your suggestion but it didn’t work. If you have time, can you please try that and post the file so that I can learn what the difference is and where I am wrong. If you can, I will really appreciate it. Thanks.
