I am wondering if anyone has ever had a reason to lock/make uneditable revit families that are finalized as company standard? Once they work with all of our standard schedules and parameters, Im thinking I would like to make it so they were only editable by permission or password (in a project or in our library) I currently do not see a way to do this. We can put them on a drive with permissions allowing certain users to upload only... but once a family is inserted into a revit project file, all bets are off. While i am concerned about accidental "blowing up" up revit families, however this could apply to those worried about sending files out as well. Has anyone got any ideas or thoughts on this?
