Dear all,

Please see attached screenshot; normall I am able to move anything around in any direction, merrily snap/tabbing away to the points that I want.

Recently though, i seem to be able to only go orth directions, ie perpendicular vert//horiz. SO does not seem to affect it, neither F8 (i know, same same), and im stumped there. "VERTICAL" or "HORIZONTAL" keeps appearing in the bottom left corner, which is what elads me to sus[pect ortho issues. How can i turn this curse feature off?

Can i revert back to my happy freewheeling ways? Please help, this is most aggravating right now.

 Cheers!

The reason for "VERTICAL" or "HORIZONTAL" directions are the check box for "Constrain" is selected in the options bar. Just unselect this and you are back to your free direction and other option is you can press shift for free direction if it is constrained and vice versa.

ahhh youre a star, thats what you are.

For those who are not sure what he means - when ypou lcik on an object (eg a wall) and select the MOVE button, right underneath it, in the context strip, there are several tick boxes - CONSTRAIN, COPY AND COPY MULTIPLE.

 Naturally, untick CONSTRAIN.

COPY MULTIPLE works the same way as the CP command in normal ACAD.

Cheers bud!
