hi mr.spot.
i remember that at some point in time while creating the baluster there is an option checking which we are able to twist the rod. am not able to place it. can you help and pick at that?

Yes using the blend tool there is an option when sketch the top or bottom profiles to twist. This basically allows the selection of which vertices top and bottom are to connect.
But personally if the twist is how i envisage it to be i would just rotate the profile 180º and then systematically rotate and place on top until you've reached the desired height.
