Found it, but does anyone know how to change symbols for pipes rising and dropping, I would like to add a half circle, instead of the  ¾

While in the project, click on an elbow.  Edit family.

While in the family editor, go to the plan view.  You will notice some "model lines" depicting the 3/4 circle.  You can adjust that to be a half circle like you said.  Alternatively, you can use "symbolic lines" so that the half circle will not show up in sections or 3D.  Symbolic lines only show up on the view that you drew them in.

Now when you are satisfied, save family as .... and load family into project.

Back in the project view, click again on the elbow you initially clicked on.  Change it to the elbow you loaded into the project.
