Has anyone found a way to model waste for banks of back-to-back water closets with a single drop through the floor in revit 2009?

I don't use MEP but can't you just model this with a nested family that has onew of your connections and the main family having the rest?

The special fitting shown in the previous post is something we are trying to model.  In attempt to do so we tried using the attached fitting below and modifying it by rotating one of the elbows 90 degrees around the central axis.  The issue is that revit tells us the part can not be rotated due to the current workplane.  Attempting to add a connection seems to require a workplane perpendiular to the two workplands that already exixst in the fitting.  Constructing a plane in the third dimension seems to be prohibited by the program.

I apologize, but the printscreen does not appear to work, here is the location of the part mentioned above.

Recently, due to a lack of ideas, I tried building a 'pipe box.'  Or simply a box with pipe fittings placed on all 6 sides, which could possibly be used as a model, given the right scale.  I was able to build the box, with the pipe fittings, but once I saved it, as it's own family, I tried to import it into the current project, revit told me I needed to click on a wall to place the item.   But, like revit is, revit would not allow to select the walls.  Does anyone know why this is?

Are you using copy monitor?

If you are building your family using a wall hosted template, you have to own the wall.  That means you have to copy it.  An alternative is to use a face based family.

I finally got something that was what I was looking for I will try to include the file with this reply.  Only a couple more questions.  How do I make this model so that it does not require a wall?  And how do I place a seventh pipe connector on one of the faces, but without it being centered?  I've tried just 'moving it' with the mouse, but the connector only wants to rotate, not move.  Anyone have any ideas?

The way you are making the part is incorrect. Revit wants an extrusion to add the pipe connector to. The pipe connection is centered on the extrusion so if you want to offset the pipe connection you must offset the extrusion see the attached modified file from yours.
