Hello all, I was wondering if anybody knows a way to get volume data from in-place families? I created an in-place concrete column family that was slanted, and since it's to be made of concrete I need to know the volume. I was under the impression that it automatically computed the volume, but when I checked there isn't any. The shape is quite irregular so the usual LxWxH can't apply to it. Any tips for this? I'm using RAC 2009 by the way. Thanks in advance.

First of all assign some material to your column, then create a material take off schedule, select material name and volume fileds then you can see the volume of your in palce column. I have checked it and I got it...Check the attachments.
