Revit 2010 Crashes when trying to save and or open files. Revit is not yet fully operational on my system I got the 2010 Revit architecture suite and after the fun and excitement of getting Vista to play nice with the software I discovered a new problem. Revit and AutoCAD architecture 2010 both crash when I try to save the file or open one. I can start the program and tinker around a bit but when it is time to save it gives me an “!” in a triangle and proceeds to shut down the program. AutoCAD 2010 is working fine. Is this familiar to anyone or is this a new and exciting adventure for us all? “A fatal error has occurred. The application will be terminated. You will be given the opportunity to save recovery files for all of your changed projects. Would you like to save a recovery file for Project1?”

You say nothing about your hardware so we can't help you. Please read some of the links to similar posts that you see on the bootom of this page. If those don't help, then come back with a complete list of your hardware and when /how you updated your drivers.

This is easy... for one thing - you need at leat 4 GB ram. Read the suggested system minimums on the AutoDESK site.
