I made a projector and screen in the family editor. When I move things in there everything works. For example the screen case is mounted in the ceiling and the the screen height is actually based off the bottom of the image height which is a certain height above the floor. I want the screen height to change when i change the image height of the floor. I flex the object in the family editor and everything works perfectly. I place it in the project. I align the top of the screen with the ceiling and then try to align the bottom of the screen with the floor, just to see if it will move, and nothing happens. Any ideas?

From your question, I think you need to spend some more time with your family building tutorials. Work on understanding the use of parameters and labels. You can read a lot in your HELP if you look under labels. Read Dimensioning with Families Tips - Dimensioning with Families - Instance Parameters and Shape Handles Family Editor Commands
