Hi all,
I am trying to create a roof with a split pitch. I have created the roof in two parts and have joined them. However, the two segments do not seem to join seemlessly. Refer attached image.
Have I joined the roofs correctly?

I would suggest turning on thin lines and making sure that the two edges are aligned, and then use join geometry on the roofs.

Depending on the foot print, roof by extrusion might be the easier way to have this clean up. If you've got a gable or something then this won't be possible.
The other option would be to set the edge on the upper roof to have a two-cut plumb edge with an fascia depth to match that of the lower.
The only way to have it correctly mitre would be to have an in-place family do the work for the lower roof... That way you could make it the required profile to cleanup properly...
