My 2009 runs great and is fast.  But 2010 on my machine (64bit, Vista, 4G) is slooooww.  I get the little spinner wheel

for practically everything i do, anyone else have this problem?

Check your graphics options and try it with hardware accelleration on and then try it off. 2010 performs a bit faster for me on my vista machine with 8 gb ram. With Vista 64 i would recomment more ram since the OS uses like 1.5 or something near there just to run.

for me the 2010 release actually performs better on my older less powerful machines than 2009 becuase of the Direct3D improvements. Although a lot of others do seem to be having crashing and performance related issues.

Did this work for you?  I have just done this and it tells me things may not show correctly.  Should I be concerned about it?

 Thanks,
