This has been happening all to frequently...

We are working on a multi-family project which includes many typical unit plans. Each unit plan is in a group, sometimes with a sub-group if the bathroom or kitchen appears in other unit types. Sometimes, for no reason, elements from the group on the second floor will move out of the view range while the same elements on the first floor will be in their correct position.

It hasn't been a huge problem until now when we are attempting to create interior elevations. We have a generic toilet (drawn as model lines) in all of our bathrooms. I wanted to replace these model lines with a 3d toilet from the manufacturer. I opened the toilet group, added the new toilet, deleted the model lines, and everything was fine. The only problem is that every other instance of the toilet is not even close to where it is supposed to be. What are we doing wrong here? Thanks

Without seeing your groups, it's kind of hard to tell.

What all was in your group?

Have you looked at your group origin to make sure that stays in the same place?  You might want to look at those in plan and section.  I've seenusers screw that up.

Did you mirror groups?.... NOT GOOD - They get strange.  I use left/right groups....
