Please post your Experiance with Windows 7 Beta/RC here so we can all understand and prepare our companies/clients.

In Windows 7 Beta/RC - Please Post a Screen SNIP of your System Performance and Information Report.

"Start - type 'Performance' Select 'Performance and Information Tools' Select 'View and Print Report'" See Figure 1.1

Once you are looking at the View and Print Report please "Start - type 'Snip" Select 'Snipping Tool' Snip the Report Save and Upload with your post.

Windows Vista and Windows 7 can give everyone a level field when talking about performance and hardware and will help people understand the requirements and real needs of Revit vs Windows.

I've included 3 systems from really old P4 Single Core to new Duel Zeon Quadcore w/8GB. However, note the Duel Quadcore in this example is still running Vista 64-bit.

Please let us know if you have or are testing Windows 7 and rate your experiance, also included any pitfalls or issues related to Revit we should be aware of.

Please keep inmind retail release date is Oct 22, 2009.

I am finding it pretty good apart from one major issue:

the file browser within Revit is painstakingly slow - i have no idea what is causing this, but there is a conflict somewhere that is making this happen.
