I started a project in revit structural 2010 and drew the building and all the steel into it. Now I need to add my piping but i have a structural template. Is there anyway to open a structural project with a mechanical template or convert a structural template to a mep template? Basicly now i can open my project in mep but when i put pipe in it dose not work..........blah Anything Helps

You can make a mep file and then link the two files. (File>import/link>revit...) from there you can use copy/monitor (tools>copy/monitor>select link) if you want to move some of the structural steel from the mep file. If you just want move the structural things from the structural file the link will update when you save both the structural and mep file. i make the changes from both the files (i dont know what way works best).
