So i have a building in plan view, room tags are on and all the rooms are tagged. This view is in 1/8." I also have a view of just a couple of the rooms at 1/4" but the room tags are not showing. I want the tags to show in this view, but i cannot for the life of me figure out how to get them to show. I tried to just replace room tags in the 1/4 view but it tells me i have a dupicate room (because of the 1/8 view tags). Is there any way to turn on the tags that i have in the 1/8 view... in the 1/4 view? Revit 2010

Did you place tags in the 1/4" views? You do not need to add the rooms again to the 1/4" views but if you want tags to show in these views you do need to tag them in each view you create. Not sure if that's what you asking but HTH.

Just a little more information - if you notice in VG, rooms are listed under the model tab, that is because they are a 3D model element and will appear in any 3D view where they show, however, room tags are under the annotation tag. That means they are 2D elements and are only there if you place them. In Revit, this is easy, window your 1/8" plan nd filter for froom tags, copy all to clipboard, open your 1/4" plan and paste same place...
