Hello there,

I am trying to see if there is a way I can apply a filter or something to all my views to allow certain categories in our linked structural model to be off.  Right now I am having to go to visibility graphics and go inot the linked model and turn off; walls, roofs, floors etc.  All I really want is the structural columns, beams etc.

Is there a way to do this?

Thanks,

Lorne

You should be controlling this throughj VG in the main model - VG / Revit-links tab.  Change it in one view and create a view template from that view - assign the view template to all the other views that are set up the same then just apply the default view template.  Revit should have called this view property "assigned" instead of default.

Yea I was afraid this is the only method.  See a lot of our views us different view templates.  So I'd have to create one for each type of view template.  It's the method I've been using but still better than nothing.

Thanks WWHub.
