I am using Revit Architecture 2009.  I have searched the web for good Free tutorials.  No luck.  I have purchased a book that was supposed to be on building parametric models, but does not explain in the detail I need as an(student)  interior designer.  I am hopeing someone can give me a bit of help in locating a great book or a tutorial for this.

I need to be able to make furniture models from a picture I see.  Such as a dresser, desk, etc.  They need to be realistic.

Can some one recommend where to find this information? or pass on a web link.

Thank you.

Furniture is no different than other categories.  The family is made up of different forms that have different material properties.  However, there is one possible problems and that is "soft" forms.  Until 2010, REVIT has not modeled soft forms very well.  If most of you modeling will be hard surface, then Revit should work very well.  Otherwise, I suggest you model in a different program and import into a REVIT family.

Use any of the tutorials for form creation as a beginning.
