I am creating a wall hosted family of a steel channel.  The steel channel is used as a reveal in a masonry wall. The channel is placed within the wall so the outside face of the channel is flush with the outside face of the masonry.  When I create this family I do not know how to have it cut away a void from the wall so the channel reveal will be visible, please see the image.  Thanks for any help
