Hi,

I am having issue trying to filter my door schedule. I've got 10 buildings named HA, HB, HC, HD, HE, HF, HG, HH, HJ, HK. I want my door schedule to just show HE and HF since the other buildings are exact duplicate of these two buildings. I went into the door schedule properties and did a filter for "Mark"..."Contains"...."HE". On the second row...And "Mark"..."Contains"...."HF".  Somehow after i click OK....all the data disappears. However, if I did a filter the other way...and pick "Does not contain"...and choose HA, HB, HC, etc...then it filters out HA, HB and HC. Can anyone help me on this? It seems very strange that I can't filter out the items that I want.

thanks,

Think about this,  your filter is progressive - the first line filters only for those with HE ... everything else is gone...how can it find any HF's... Now if Revit allowed an "OR" instead of the "AND" then your filter would work.

Thanks, I think that if i made a new parameter and put all the doors i want to show on that parameter (for example: name them all to 1). Then i can filter that parameter and show all that contains "1". thanks for your help.

Yeh...

For same kind of schedules, I create a parameter called 'Building Name' and  I specify Building Name in each component that's being scheduled - in your case, doors.
