Thought i'd add this after looking at recently uploaded family. Its quite easy to make any planting component adjustable height... INCLUDING DWG IMPORTS! By nesting the planting family into another planting family it becomes adjustable. There is no need to link any parameters, revit will automatically size the nested family based on the height settings. HTH.
