I know someone has already posted a forum on this, but thier solution didn't work...

I have dual moniters, and sometimes Revit's drop down menu for type selection goes away, and I can't figure out how to get it back without restarting Revit. The previous forum said to make the moniter you are using primary (reseting as primary), and the menu would reappear. That didn't work. I don't have time to restart Revit over and over...

I have had this problem and have found many solutions. If changing your primary monitor doesnt work.... verify you have an Autocad certified driver (i know this isnt autocad but trust me) if that doesnt work and you are using Vista 64 bit and Internet Explorer 8, uninstall IE8, uninstall you graphics driver, reboot, reinstall drivers and DO NOT upgrade to IE8

O boy... maybe it is just easier to turn it off then on again...

We don't use Vista or IE, we use XP and Mozilla Firefox, and I am pretty sure my driver is AutoCAD-friendly.

Oh well. I guess I'll live. I don't use Revit on both screens anyway.
