Is there a way to install valve components in elevation or section so I can connect them to vertical pipes. I've been only able to install them in plan view and I can't figure out how to make it choose the vertical pipe in my design. If that's possible at all.

I drew a short length of pipe horizontally, added the valve then went to my elevation view and rotated it, then moved it into place and connected it to my existing pipe.
