I am using Revit Architecture 2009:

 I have a ceiling plan view where i show the plumbing penetrations from above.  The plumbing penetrations are shown with a filled region.  The toilets have shifted and now i need to move the filled regions.  When i went back to the plan i was unable to move the filled regions.  i cannot tab and select them either it will not let me select the regions.  I am stumped and any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I have an answer to my own problem.

 The filled regions visibility is controled through detail items.  However the filled regions boundary visibility is controlled through Lines.  It seems someone had turned off the visibility of thin lines, which was what the filled region's boundary was created with, thus not allowing the filled region to be editable, nad not allwoing me to move the regions or change their sizes.  Hope this helps out people in the future.
