So i hate the revit people. And i just wanna use silhouettes....i know how to import the 2d Silhouettes from sketch up but i would like to make a family with like 50 different silhouettes, tried changing the people types and importing new Silhouettes and the type shows up but the Silhouettes dont change, just the most recent one that i uploaded. i want it to act like the revit people family where you can change the person from Dwyane to LaRon thru element properties. Thanks for any help.

Dont worry about it. Just ended up making a family for each person haha. like 25 people. but it was quick and easy. is there anyway to post a .ZIP or .RAR file on the downloads? so ic an include them all in one file rather than 25 different ones? they are very small files.

This would be cool if you had them all in the same family...with the option to switch out the types. Sounds like you need to set up visibility parameters for each "Type" of silhouette. Then, assign the visibility of each one to the corresponding parameter. Under family types, simply uncheck each visibility box for all the silhouettes except the one you want to be visible. Do this for each unique silhouette and it should work.

I know this thread is old, but could you share your those silhouettes you created? Just zip them and upload to a file storage service like Mediafire, Hotfile, Megaupload, etc. I really prefer silhouettes to RPC people as well. Thanks!

I know this is old but I hope it may help some people out there looking for 2d cut out people. I run a website offering free cut outs for people to use in architectural visuals, they could be saved as png's and copied into Revit if you prefer doing that way. If you open any of the cut outs in photoshop and set the lightness to 0, then they will become silhouettes as you asked for.

Hey T16mog - I know this is from ages ago... but did you ever post your silhouettes? I'd LOVE to have some... Been searching for a while trying to find some basic, silhouettes... Particuarly seeking kids, teens and adults for some elevations and perspectives in a Museum.
Any help finding great silhouettes would be very happily appreciated!
