i'm trying to learn with the tutorial but i don't trust it.. it says to click something on the "placement panel".. but i can't find any placement panel.. is that a miss-print? look at my screen shots please..

I don't see any problem with the tutorial, it's correct, like you can see in the first image i have a couple of lines, in the second image i click only in one line BUT if i just go with the mouse (don't click) to a line then click in TAB key, revit select the chain of lines THEN click with the mouse and ALL lines are select, (third image)... It's the same with walls....
