Just thought I'd ask where everyone's from since we seem to have such a diverse population here on RevitCity. Smile

For those of you who don't know, my name is Dominic and I live in Reno,NV USA.  I'm studying to become an architect and I work for an architectural firm that works with Revit.

The coolest thing about Typhoon is that is his real name! His parents were way cooler than mine.

LOL.... No Erland, and it's not because of Eurofighter, was because of this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Typhoon_class_submarine  "Typhoons are the largest class of submarine ever built."

This is a pretty diverse website isn't it. Although Dominic you and I are barely a desert apart. I need to come to your town sometime and check out the construction on the Art Acedemy I did in Reno.

haha that's less than a block away from our office.  That looks really nice, I saw that construction was underway over there too, very good.  How is your firm doing?  Are you guys getting a lot of work in these tough times?

Very cool, yeah like I said... it was a decent project. It made a pretty good model.

We are pretty slow here in Vegas. Since my main focus is training staff on Revit, I bounce around to alot of different firms. I have witnessed mass layoffs at just about all major firms around here. So I feel blessed to be collecting a paycheck right now. How's life/work up in Reno?

It's pretty slow right now, I'm hoping that things start to pick up soon though.  Yeah, I feel so bad for all the people losing their jobs, I sure hope things turn around soon.
