hi,

I am E- Architect and computer/design bumb hoping to make a living from the profession in years to come..

I have been using REVIT for 5 years.. but not using its full capacity.. stoppe dusing 2D drawfting tools, and very happy with challenges that pop up now and then ... I do most of the modeling and drfating with no detail corrections, but rely on that with final touches in technical 1:10 and larger scale formats

1. if anyone has had much success with foreign langauge integration to REVit - i woudl appreciate the support. Hebrew seems to be tricky with labels and stuf... but working through it

2. If anyone has good ideas on how to avoid lines showing on wall elements based on cone shaped masses- (it would be nice to avoid having to use pen tool to remove lines in vinvisible lines etc...)

take care- and support REVIT

E

You don't say how you created this form.

If you did it as a solid blend extrusion, you should not have it .... if all the sketch lines are tangents.

blend extruded- two elipses

well- yeha..i am pretty sure they were tangents. but in actual fact- it was done some time back..

i keep having to take off the lines with invisible lines tool-

but its pretty late in the project to cahnge the modeling of the mass... anwyays- not sure yet hwo our contractor with build this..might just change the design to a square based on cost implications in the end... but thanks for the help.. will try for tetign ground next time
