Why Why Why does it take so long to print with the shadows on? It is very frustrating and further more it locks up the computer and I can do nothing else. Is there any way to speed this process up? It is not as bad with PDF but still very slow going. Part of the problem is I am trying to print multiple projects and I send one thing to the printer or to PDF and I have other jobs I need to be printing as well but I have to sit here and wait till it is done to start the next project printing and so on and so on.

Raina, did you try in DWF instead a PDF??? I always export to DWF (shadows and so one) and when i print I don't think it take so long to print, just a thought...

with Revit 2010 having hardware acceleration on my shadows print without that major processing lag.

Hey Typhoon Nope that won't work PDF's are what I need. I also need to be able to send plots to the printer quicker.

So it is much faster in 2010? Did you have the same lag time situation when you were in previous versions?

Well, with Vista 64 and Revit 64 I note there are differences even in renders... hey, i work with 8 Gb of RAM too....
