A client wants my rvt file as a part of the work product, but I don't want them (or anyone else) to be able to use or change it in the future as a base for any drawings (for liability & copywrite reasons). Is there a way to protect Revit files so that they are fully viewable & functional in revit, but unable to be changed, copied, or added on to? With autocad I used to just bind & explode all the objects and put everything on 1 layer before giving to clients (so it's pretty much impossible to use as anything other than an overlay) Is there anything you can think of that's synonomous to that in Revit? Thanks

Give him a 3D dwf with all the 2D dwf sheets inserted in the same file. Otherwise forget it. Revit files can not be locked.
