how much ram do you have? and how big is the file you are trying to render? try lowering the quality of the render and see if you can do it, also try to restart Revit and clear some ram...

No...it wasn't any of that...I use a Dell Dimension XPS (plenty of power) it was rendering fine, and then all of the sudden it wouldn't render anymore. Im pretty fluent in Revit and have never had a problem like that....I ended up having to copy the model from the site plan view and pasting it in a new project template. It worked fine after that....I just had to reassign all of my materials. Oh well. Thanks.

Yeah i've had this before also. It's usually some sort of corruption in the revit database. Best to send the file to support. Even if you have it resolved still send the file to support so they can work on avoiding having this happen again the future.

I am in the same boat, just found out the 300K sf building we have been working on will not render in revit.

Tried to export out as dwg to use in VIZ no luck keeps crashing.

options at this point are to pull a backup that is still able to render and continue from there?

or would it be best to start over?

thank you

Andy
