Anybody tried or are using the new windows pro 64 bit OS with REVIT ? Does it work or is it a waste of money

I tried the beta version a while ago, the thing is that if you don't have a 64bit application you would not notice a difference at all. so until Revit is 64bit I would spend the money on more ram 
I'm runing Linux 64 and all applications are 64bit and it is much faster....
