im creating a bathroom wall with tile on both sided, because there are two bathrooms that share that wall. However, I do not want the tile to go up past the ceiling, however revit is only allowing me to unlock one side of the wall to adjust its extensions. when i try to unlock both sides it pops up a errer message that says, "Extension Layers at the top of the wall must be adjacent" anybody got any ideas??

I posted on this just a week or two ago ... gotta think out of the box.  Don't unlock the exterior skin - unlock all the interio ones.  Now make the wall the height of the tile and pull the rest of the wall up.

We actually don't include the tile on our walls.  We add the tile as a thin veneer wall and join it with the base.  This gives you a lot more control and options.

Very Nice Hub, when you say you just add it as a thin veneer to the base, you mean like a wall sweep? or a totally different wall?
