I am currently working on a steel panel system for steel building structures. The wall and ceiling panels are insulated and therefore are comprised of an inside-skin, outside-skin and an insulation core.From researching the AUGI forums I understand the approach to take is to create the panels as a curtain wall family. That way they can be used to replace the infill panels in a standard curtain wall system.I have been successful in bring the panels in as individual components (inside-skin, outside-skin, or insulation core) to replace infill curtain wall panels. However, I am having difficulty when it comes to replacement of the standard infill panels with the combined panels (inside-skin, outside-skin, and insulation core) as a “Nested Curtain Wall” infill replacement panel.Can ‘Nested Panels’ be used as a curtain wall panels?Is anyone aware of how to go about this or do you have any suggestions for creating a layered or nested panel system?
