Hello,

I just downloaded a toilet family from the Kohler website (http://www.us.kohler.com/onlinecatalog/detail.jsp?item=10452802&section=2&category=30&subcategory=22), which would be great if it didn't show so many polygons...

Is there a way to make this look more like a normal drawing? I've had this issue before, and decided to go with a generic model instead, but I'd like to find out if there is an actual solution.

Thanks

Anything modeled outside of Revit is usually done as polygons.  If you don't want those showing in plan or elevations, then edit the family adding 2d detail lines (masking regions) and turn the 3d off in plans and elevations ... probably sections too.

thanks Hub,

I don't want to sound like I'm complaining, but one could hope these families, provided by an established company such as Kohler, would be ready for immediate use.
